Thanksgiving is getting closer and closer!
If you remember my post about Glenn’s high cholesterol, you’ll know that we’ve had to make some lifestyle changes to accommodate both of our needs. Well, for Thanksgiving, all rules go out the door. Life is too short to not enjoy the holidays, and come on, but the food is one of the best parts! I didn’t realize just how much I was looking forward to chowing down on some serious turkey and sweet potatoes, pecan pie and pumpkin pie.
This is so going down next Thursday.
Today, I am thankful for motherhood. I recognize this is a huge privilege. I get to be a mother to a sweet, inquisitive, brutally honest little girl and I love her more than words can convey. Yes, I want more children. Yes, I wish I could make her a big sister. What really matters is that I do get to be a mother to her, and even if it’s only her, it’s a gift and a blessing.
