When Zoey was a newborn, I signed her up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which means she received a FREE, brand new book in the mail every month up until she turned 5 years old. Once Zoey turned 3, she started to really notice and look forward to receiving mail every month. It was a sad day when she received her final book in the mail: Kindergarten, Here I Come! She knew it meant no more books in the mail, and even though it has been five months since she received that book, she still asks me if anything is coming in the mail for her.
I have been looking at subscription boxes for a while as a way to supplement the Imagination Library. When she was younger, I looked into Citrus Lane, but it seemed to be tailored for babies and toddlers more than young children. I believe it has changed a bit now, but now that she is 5 years old and very creative, I wanted to get her a box that was more than just toys and body products. That said, I will likely sign up for Citrus Lane if we get pregnant again.
For Zoey, I wanted to get something that would challenge her and keep her busy. That is when I discovered the Crates!
