This post is a follow-up to this one: Grocery Shopping for PCOS: How to Shop at Aldi, so please be sure to check it out first if you are wondering about Aldi, how to shop there, and why I love it. This post isn’t sponsored, endorsed, or anything else like that. I just really like Aldi and love to share how it helps me eat healthier for less!

Part 2 here: Shopping at Aldi for the 21-Day Fix, Part 2! {Plus: My Round 3, Week #7 Meal Plan!}
Today, I want to share specifically how I shop at Aldi for the 21-Day Fix, and some of the prices I have found at my local store. I’ll also share my meal plan for Monday-Friday.
Today starts Week 2 of the Fix, and I can’t believe I’m already here. The first week was intense, and dare I say INSANE. By day 3, I was wobbling around the office at work like a pathetic sloth, but a day or so afterward I felt like a whole new person. It’s been a while since I did this much exercise… I’ll be the first to admit that. But now, I feel much more energized and like I can conquer anything!
My Aldi Finds for the 21-Day Fix
So it’s no surprise that I love Aldi, but I love it even more now that they are making a bigger effort to sell more organic and healthy foods. I think most people associate Aldi with packaged junk and cheap food, but it’s greatly misunderstood. Just like any grocery store, they do have a selection of junk, but I’m seeing an even bigger selection of healthy options these days. I always start at Aldi for my shopping, and what I can’t get there, I get elsewhere. When it comes to the 21-Day Fix, Aldi makes it really easy!
Here are some of my Aldi finds over the weekend that are 21-Day Fix friendly:
- Sweet potatoes, $1.99
- Ground turkey, $1.89
- Dry roasted peanuts, $1.99
- Extra virgin olive oil, $3.49
- Peppercorn grinder, $1.69 (already had sea salt!)
- Organic honey, $3.49
- Spinach and feta stuffed sausages, $2.99
- Fair trade coffee, $3.99
- Frozen raw shrimp, $4.99
- Organic spring mix (greens), $1.69
- Mushrooms, $1.25
- 3-pack peppers (red, orange, yellow bell peppers), $1.99
- Dozen eggs, $1.39
- Fit & Active rice cakes, $1.29
- Organic grape tomatoes, $2.49
- Blueberries, $2.49
- Fresh mozzarella ball, $2.69
- Mandarins, $3.99
- Yellow onions, $1.89
- Zucchini, $2.49
- Organic spices, $1.99 (this is new! I hadn’t seen these yet!)
My Meal Plan: Week 2 of the 21-Day Fix
I haven’t shared the specifics of the 21-day fix yet, so I figured I’d give you a rundown today if you’re not familiar with it. My personal 21-Day fix meal plan requires the following containers per day, along with the measurement each one holds:
- Red (3/4 c. protein): 4x/day
- Green (1 c. veggies): 3x/day
- Purple (1 c. fruit): 2x/day
- Yellow (1/2 c. carb): 2x/day
- Blue (1/4 c. healthy fats): 1x/day
- Orange (2 1/2 Tbsp seeds + dressings): 1x/day
- 2 tsp. (oils + nut butters): just get 2 in during the day
This is a LOT of food. It may not look like it when you look at the containers and think “hmm, I only get 4 of these proteins per day?” But trust me… I ain’t hungry! Packing the veggie container? Girls… it’s a lot of food. I use my Shakeology as one of my red replacements each day and that helps. I’ll be honest and say most of the time I have been able to eat everything, but there has been a time or two that I just couldn’t get down anymore and ended up not getting a full container’s worth of something. I’m looking at you, taco meat… 3/4 cup of taco meat is too much for this girl.
So, now that I shared the specifics of the plan itself, here is my menu for Monday-Friday of Week 2! The upcoming weekend is still up in the air, so as it gets closer, I’ll finish planning. But for now, I have my work week pretty much planned out.
Keep in mind that some ingredients for these meals I already had at home, or happen to pick up somewhere else, so this is why they’re not all listed on the Aldi finds list. This is balanced in a way so I get all my containers in during the day, and there is some consistency, but also just enough variety. Because I do most of my meal prep on Sunday, I have no excuses to mess up during the week. I keep it simple.

So that’s it! This past weekend I did pretty good considering I had two gatherings with some food temptations. Last night I treated myself after yoga and traded my carb for a piece of dark chocolate. Because, yeah, it’s allowed on the Fix. Awesome, right?! I hadn’t done the trade at all yet, so I figured after being so strict for an entire week, I’d treat myself just a tiny bit. I love me some dark chocolate. Aldi sells some pretty tasty dark chocolate, by the way. Just sayin’.
If anyone has tried a cauliflower crust pizza and liked it, please share the recipe! I have seen so many on Pinterest and so many varying opinions… I really want to try one! Suggestions?

I have had the cauliflower crust pizza and it was good! We had to grate the cauliflower with a cheese grater….which was a TERRIBLE idea! My hands smelled for days. We have tried the thin wheat crusts that are already made that you can get in the pizza aisle…they aren’t terrible.
Thanks, Beth! So far we have ended up only doing cauliflower “rice”. We used the food processor and I just pulse it so it won’t purée! Do you have a link to a pizza crust that is good? I have heard so many of them are hit or miss. Thanks!
We must be similar people. I LOVE Aldi too! I also think 21 day fix is a great plan. Have fun and thank you so much for sharing and inspiring!
Awesome! Thanks for reading and commenting! I love Aldi and was just there yesterday. Since this post, they have really increased their game with even more organic and healthy options. Love it!
Can you post the recipes?
Good question! I think I will make an effort to try to get some Fix-friendly recipes in order on here. All of these on this list are things I just make from my head.
I’ve gotten the cauliflower pizza from Costco & it was great.
Awesome! I’ll have to look into that.
