That is how long my first Vitex+Maca+Cinnamon cycle turned out. I feel 99.999% certain it was anovulatory. Oh well.
I have a doctor’s appointment next Tuesday to discuss what is next. I am going to keep up with the supplements for now. I lowered my Vitex from 3x/day to just 2x/day. I have noticed a huge difference in my hot flashes – they’re pretty much non-existent now. I feel a lot better in general.
I do feel like my ovaries attempt to ovulate about every 6-7 days. They tend to feel very swollen and sore for a few hours, then it’s just gone. My hope is that it’s the follicles rupturing and not regenerating. They’re evil little minions… I need my ovaries to clean up their act a little bit so I have a better chance when we do start trying again. They haven’t gotten the memo that quality is much better than quantity. Instead of producing 1 or 2 perfect follicles, they like to try to over achieve and produce many tiny follicles right on top of each other that never grow to maturity and just turn into cysts. I wish they would just like, absorb into one another… cannibal zombie follicles. That is what I need.
While we are in this waiting period, Zoey has been praying for a baby “from biggest to smallest”. I love her little prayers. She thanks God for me, her daddy and for herself. Then she will thank him for things like cheese, pizza, alligators (also from ‘biggest to smallest’), random friends at school, one of my personal best friends, her teachers… such a thoughtful child. Someday she will be a great big sister.
